Hello, avid readers of past wisdom and predictions 1840's style ~ September from the 1840 Illinois Farmer's Almanac compliments of archive.org.
"None are so fond of secrets, as those who do not mean to keep them; such persons covet secrets as a spendthrift covets money for the purpose of circulation."

Notice in the right column: "Prest Jno Hancock died September 28, 1793" ~
Do you know what history records as his date of death?
What? You don't recall John Hancock as one of our presidents. You would be correct - click the image below to see that he was President of the Continental Congress from May 24, 1775 – October 31, 1777. Also notice how his name is spelled in the French photo below ~
